The alarming news about Bangladesh is that as result of the rise of the sea level the lower southern part of the country may one day go under water. The main culprits for global warming are carbon dioxide gas, produced by the burning of fossil fuels and forest and pollutants such methane and chlorofluorocarbon. Trees can play a great role in preventing global warming. Therefore, more trees should be planted and the tree plantation programme should be extended throughout the country. More over, we should abstain from cutting any burning trees at random. After all, we can prevent global warming by being careful and rising public awareness.
